Our time up in Papua & Raja Ampat is slowly coming to an end for this 2019 / 2020 season and, boy, it has been nothing short of spectacular. But let’s start in November, first things first! |

Still so remote and untouched, it is not the easiest place on Earth to get to but oh so rewarding for those that decide to make the effort - and we’re excited to provide the perfect platform for your expedition. In Triton Bay, we swam with whale sharks, entered fjords, experienced phenomenal underwater life and made friends with a “new” village that has only recently been created, just to be let into their secret of a spectacular waterfall hidden deep in their backyard. |

We also joined the locals on a tour upriver and spotted crocodiles on its banks, saw Sailfish and Wobbegong sharks during our dive. Experiences that would be once in a lifetime anywhere else in a world sometimes happened too frequent that we started taking them for granted. |
|
We explored the heart of Raja Ampat dived cruised snorkelled kayaked and played a 2nd round of the Kudanil Open - our in-house ping pong tournament. |

After a dive trip in mid January, it was finally time for our signature surf trips in Raja Ampat. In cooperation with our friends from Tropicsurf, we welcomed 2 groups back to back for a surf trip of a lifetime. We rode shoulder-high to overhead waves all to ourselves, every day and all day long. Only a surfer knows the feeling! Sessions with dozens of dolphins, whale sightings during several crossings, spectacular nature, snorkelling with juvenile black-tip reef sharks, rooftop yoga, wakeboard sessions, sunset drinks and even a few dives in-between. |
|
Both trips had surfers as well as non-surfers aboard and it’s so easy to please everyone given the diversity of the area - be it bird watching, visits of local villages, stand-up paddling or any of our other toys aboard. |

The Kudanil Explorer is currently on an expedition led by the owners, Remi & Thibaud Epstein, discovering new hidden gems along another signature route of ours combining Raja Ampat & the Spice Islands before we take a quick break for our annual dry dock. We will then return to Komodo, Sumba, Flores and Alor in late March and still have slots from May - September available. Join us for an adventure of a lifetime - be it surfing, diving, snorkelling or just a relaxing holiday with friends and family. |
